Job summary

GA Telesis seeks a driven Manager of Collections in Istanbul to lead regional accounts receivable, ensure timely payments, and ensure compliance with Turkish regulations. You will collaborate with Finance leadership, the Flight Solutions Group, and the General Counsel to keep country processes aligned with corporate standards.

This onsite role requires strong analytical skills and bilingual Turkish/English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in multinationals, aviation industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of Turkish laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• No travel restrictions; military duty completed for male candidates.
• Dual language: Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Drives timely collections of accounts receivable in the region and related areas.
• Monitors aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
• Analyses financial results to inform business decisions.
• Develops and implements country-specific collections SOPs.
• Initiates high-volume calls and emails to request payment and negotiate plans.
• Investigates payment discrepancies with internal teams and customers.
• Maintains client relationships while pursuing overdue balances.
• Documents communications and payment arrangements in ERP; prepares weekly/monthly collection reports.
• Collaborates with GA Telesis Ecosystem to improve Türkiye office efficiencies.

GA Telesis is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Manager of Collections for our Flight Solutions Group (FSG) office located in Istanbul, Türkiye. Reporting to the Director of Finance and dotted-line to the Corporate Controller, this position will play a pivotal role in managing our country’s finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of all financial and corporate reporting requirements. The Manager of Collections will also collaborate closely with our President of the Flight Solutions Group and General Counsel to ensure the country office is compliant with all relevant business unit processes & procedures within FSG and with all country regulations and corporate compliance requirements.

This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide valuable insights to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a deep understanding of finance, accounting, business operations, as well as legal/compliance requirements in the region. This role is based onsite inIstanbul, Türkiye.

Responsibilities:

• Drives timely collections of all relevant customersaccounts receivable in the region as well as potential subsequent regions assigned
• Monitor and create aging reports to identify overdue accounts
• Monitors financial results and draws trends and conclusions to make business and workforce decisions
• Develops and implements standard operating procedures for GA Telesis aligned with country requirements
• Initiate high-volume outbound calls and emails to customers to request payment, negotiate repayment plans, and settle outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, such as partial payments or incorrect billing, by liaising with internal departments and customers
• Maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure future business while firmly pursuing overdue payments
• Accurately document all communication and payment arrangements in the company’s ERP system and prepare weekly/monthly collection reports for management.
• Partners with internal GA Telesis Ecosystem to leverage existing systems and technology to improve efficiencies of Türkiye offices
