Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect installations for safety, and support energy management.

The role involves following established procedures and working under supervision to ensure reliable operation. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of job-related experience considered.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Basic proficiency in routine maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Strong communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose problems.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Operate under supervision and deliver outputs per defined processes.
