Job summary

Motlow State Community College in Smyrna seeks a Library Associate II- Testing to provide library customer, circulation, and reference services while supporting Testing Centers across Motlow campuses. The role involves teaching, catalog access assistance, and XR equipment guidance.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and one year of customer service; preferred is an Associate’s Degree with two years’ customer service. Travel to other campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and at least two years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• LIBRARY USER SERVICES: assists and teaches users to access information through the catalog and fuels circulation services.
• LIBRARY SUPPORT SERVICES: maintain statistics, produce IDs, manage equipment, and assist with accessibility.
• TESTING CENTER SERVICES: schedule and proctor exams, maintain equipment, and acquire testing certifications.
• DATA MANAGEMENT: maintain testing records and generate improvement reports.
