oBilet Bilişim Sistemleri A.Ş. in Türkiye is seeking a qualified lawyer to join our legal team. You will draft agreements, handle negotiations, and maintain documents in the team’s inventory.

You will translate Turkish–English legal documents, monitor regulatory developments, and support disputes while ensuring deadlines and high-quality work in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable law school with strong academics.
• Strong Turkish and English writing skills; IELTS/TOEFL if available.
• Ability to translate complex legal documents in both directions.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with flexible hours.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft agreements and notices and support negotiations.
• Coordinate legal notifications and tracking; draft responses.
• Check onboarding of new agreements.
• Support the legal team in disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
• Monitor regulatory developments (Advertising Board, PDPA).
• Communicate with external parties; track actions.
• Prepare Turkish–English translations of legal documents.

Main responsibilities:

• Contributing to the first drafts of agreements and notices, taking part in negotiations alongside the legal team, and maintaining the resulting documents in the team's inventory;

• Coordinating legal notifications and maintaining the notification tracking table, with the support of the paralegal; preparing draft responses to notifications;

• Carrying out the required checks during the onboarding of newly executed agreements;

• Supporting the legal team in disputes and litigation;

• Conducting legal research on legislation and regulatory practice, and presenting the findings in clear written memoranda;

• Monitoring new regulations and decisions of relevant regulatory bodies, such as the Turkish Advertising Board and the Personal Data Protection Authority;

• Supporting communication with external parties on routine follow-up and documentation processes, and keeping a record of the resulting action items;

• Preparing Turkish–English translations of legal documents relating to the matters you work on.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable law school, with a strong academic record;

• Strong writing skills in both Turkish (will be tested) and English (to be demonstrated with a valid IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent certificate, if available; otherwise tested during the selection process), and a keen interest in developing negotiation skills;

• The ability and willingness to translate complex legal documents in both directions (will be tested);

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (will be tested);

• Close attention to detail;

• The ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively;

• The ability to work in a dynamic environment and within flexible working hours;

• Sound business ethics, a willingness to learn and the ambition to step up;

• Previous internship experience gained during law school is a plus.
