Job summary

Gizli Şirket seeks a Legal Manager to contribute to operational excellence and sustainable performance within a globally operating corporate structure with a strong market position.

The role will manage end-to-end legal processes for Türkiye and international operations, provide advisory services on commercial, contract, company, and employment law, and draft/negotiate domestic and international contracts to minimize risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law is required.
• Master’s degree in International Trade Law, Corporate Law, or European Law preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of professional legal experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing legal teams.
• Advanced English is required; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end legal processes for Türkiye and international operations.
• Provide advisory services across commercial, contract, company and employment law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate domestic and international contracts; minimize risks.
• Manage litigation, enforcement and dispute resolution with external law firms.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and advise senior management on strategic decisions.
• Lead compliance, ethics, data protection and corporate governance efforts.
• Monitor changes in local and international law and integrate into processes.
• Lead external counsels and advisory networks.
• Oversee organization, workflow and performance of the legal department.
• Provide regular reporting on legal risks, litigation and ongoing matters.
• Contribute to developing company policies from a legal perspective.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end legal processes related to Türkiye and international operations
• Provide legal advisory services to business activities within the scope of commercial law, contract law, company law, employment law, and relevant regulations
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize all domestic and international commercial contracts while minimizing legal risks
• Manage litigation, enforcement, and dispute resolution processes involving the company and coordinate with external law firms
• Conduct legal risk assessments in corporate growth, investment, and operational decisions and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
• Lead compliance, ethics, data protection, and corporate governance processes
• Monitor local and international legislative changes and ensure integration into company processes
• Manage external legal counsels and advisory networks
• Lead the organization, workflow, and performance of the legal department
• Provide regular reporting to senior management on legal risks, litigation, and ongoing legal matters
• Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures from a legal perspective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Master’s degree in International Trade Law, Corporate Law, or European Law is preferred
• Minimum 12 years of professional legal experience

• Strong expertise in commercial law is mandatory
• Knowledge and experience in the logistics sector is an advantage (preferred)
• Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or multinational companies is preferred
• Strong experience in international contract management and cross-border operations
• Proven experience in managing external law firms and advisory networks
• Advanced level of English is required
• French language skills are preferred
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and crisis management skills
