Job summary

REED Türkiye is seeking a Legal Counsel for our international manufacturing client. You will provide strategic legal advice to executive management, draft and negotiate broad commercial agreements, and oversee governance, compliance and cross‑border operations.

The ideal candidate has a law degree and an active Attorney‑at‑Law license, with extensive corporate and commercial law experience and a track record in multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Law degree and active Attorney-at-Law license.
• Extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Leadership experience within multinational or international organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, contracts, and international frameworks.
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions and cross-border matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to executive management on commercial and corporate matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documentation.
• Manage litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution with external law firms.
• Oversee governance activities including Board and shareholder resolutions and registrations.
• Support M&A, corporate restructuring, investments and financing activities.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks while ensuring business continuity.
• Lead compliance initiatives covering governance, competition law, data privacy, ethics and regulatory requirements.
• Manage intellectual property matters and protect company interests globally.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to executive management on commercial and corporate matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documentation.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution processes while coordinating external law firms.
• Oversee corporate governance activities, including Board and Shareholder resolutions, corporate registrations and statutory compliance.
• Support M&A transactions, corporate restructuring projects, investments and financing activities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks while ensuring business continuity.
• Lead compliance initiatives covering corporate governance, competition law, data privacy, ethics and regulatory requirements.
• Manage intellectual property matters and protect the company's legal interests globally.
• Develop legal policies, procedures and standardized documentation across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives within the legal function.
• Lead, coach and develop the legal team while fostering a high-performance culture.

Job Description

• Law degree and valid Attorney-at-Law license.
• Extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Previous leadership experience within multinational or international organizations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, commercial contracts and international legal frameworks.
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and cross-border legal matters.
