Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Türkiye is seeking a Group Leader to provide leadership to First Line Leaders, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery within the assigned manufacturing group. You will own daily performance, drive operations, and coordinate cross-functional actions to meet productivity targets.

The role emphasizes leading investigations, developing leadership capability, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining staffing and equipment readiness to ensure continuous production.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• People management experience.
• Industrial, mechanical, electrical or metallurgy & materials engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to First Line Leaders and maintain accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and performance.
• Own daily operational performance and escalate production issues as the primary point of contact.
• Drive safety culture, review actions, and lead investigations of significant safety concerns.
• Own quality performance, review losses, and lead containment and corrective actions.
• Drive daily execution through FLLs and coach leadership development.
• Lead structured problem solving, ensure CAPAs, and manage staffing and readiness.

What you’ll do:

Provide leadership to First Line Leaders and maintain full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and performance within the assigned manufacturing group.

The Group Leader owns daily operational performance and acts as the primary escalation point for production issues.

Safety

• Drive proactive safety culture.
• Review and close safety actions.
• Lead investigations of significant safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all EHS standards.

Quality

• Own quality performance of the manufacturing group.
• Review quality losses and corrective actions.
• Lead containment and escalation activities when required.
• Ensure standards are followed consistently.

Operational Ownership

• Own overall performance of the assigned manufacturing group.
• Ensure production targets, delivery commitments, and business objectives are achieved.
• Drive daily execution through FLLs.
• Directly lead and coach FLLs.
• Develop leadership capability within teams.
• Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
• Ensure effective manpower utilization across areas.
• Lead daily Tier meetings.
• Review previous-day and current-shift performance.
• Escalate site-level issues requiring cross-functional support.
• Coordinate actions with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Act as escalation level for unresolved FLL issues.
• Lead structured problem solving activities.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Maintain staffing, equipment, and operational readiness.
• Manage risks affecting production continuity.
• Drive achievement of budgeted productivity and efficiency targets.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering
• Master's Degree (MBA or Engineering Management)Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Leadership Development Certifications preferred

• SafetyEHS principles, risk assessment, incident investigation, layered process audits, safety culture development
