Job summary

EPAM Systems in Turkey seeks a seasoned Lead SAP EWM Consultant to architect and deliver material flow solutions using SAP EWM. You will partner with stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end SAP EWM rollouts, including blueprints, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-launch support.

The role requires deep SAP EWM expertise, warehouse operations knowledge, and experience with automation like conveyors/AS/RS. English fluency and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP EWM experience including full implementation cycles.
• At least 1 year leading teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material flows.
• Experience with warehouse automation (conveyors, AS/RS) and RF systems.
• Knowledge of MM, SD, TM integration with SAP EWM.
• Proficient English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-user training, create documentation, and provide hyper-care after launch.
• Coordinate with MM, SD, TM teams to ensure SAP module integration.

We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Lead SAP EWM Consultant to become part of our organization. The right person for this role brings deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) along with a firm grasp of logistics and warehouse operations. This position demands the capability to architect and deliver effective material flow solutions built on SAP EWM tools, all while staying aligned with client objectives and business requirements. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders and various teams to provide comprehensive warehouse management solutions that promote streamlined, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, architect, and roll out warehouse and logistics solutions built on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
• Work closely with business stakeholders to grasp their operational workflows and turn them into SAP EWM setups and process designs
• Head up or contribute to complete SAP EWM rollouts, spanning blueprint creation, design work, system configuration, testing phases, launch, and ongoing support afterward
• Formulate and refine material flow approaches, incorporating warehouse automation elements like conveyor belts, AS/RS technology, or comparable equipment
• Set up and tailor SAP EWM capabilities, encompassing Inbound/Outbound handling, Yard Management, Labor Management, Physical Inventory, and Storage Control (POSC/EPSC)
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems and inconsistencies tied to SAP EWM operations
• Verify that SAP EWM setups follow established industry standards and reinforce Lean Warehouse principles
• Deliver training sessions for end users, compile supporting documentation, and offer hyper-care assistance following launch to facilitate a smooth transition
• Partner with teams across different functions, such as MM, SD, and TM, to guarantee smooth integration throughout SAP modules

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), including complete implementation cycles from blueprint through launch
• A minimum of one year spent leading and overseeing teams
• Solid grasp of supply chain and warehouse operational processes and how they translate into SAP EWM execution
• Demonstrated skill in crafting and rolling out effective material flow methodologies for warehouse settings using SAP EWM
• Skilled in setting up essential EWM features, including Goods Receipt/Goods Issue handling, Physical Inventory, Wave Management, Task Interleaving, Slotting/Rearrangement, and Warehouse Monitor
• Background incorporating warehouse automation technologies, such as conveyor systems and automated storage and retrieval setups (AS/RS)
• Practical experience with Storage Types, Storage Bin Management, Order Management, and the RF framework
• Understanding of how Advanced Shipping and Receiving (ASR) integrates within warehouse operations
• Working knowledge of warehouse control systems (WCS) and integration between SAP and other systems, including TM and ERP
• Solid capability in identifying issues, resolving problems, and managing intricate business situations
• Strong communication skills, with proven ability to engage productively with business stakeholders and teams across functions
• Advanced command of English, at B2 proficiency level or higher
