Job summary

ESEN seeks a senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in digital signal processing and defense-related projects. The role requires 10+ years in ML, hands-on ML/DL development, and experience with RF systems and signal processing within EW/SIGINT domains.

You will lead ML solution design, research, and implementation while collaborating across teams. International travel may be required for project delivery and client support.

Qualifications

• MS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional ML experience, preferably with signal processing.
• Hands-on software development and/or applied ML research experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, C++, or Java.
• Experience with data science tools and Python libraries (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with clear communication.
• Defense industry experience, EW/SIGINT preferred.
• Hands-on experience in EW/SIGINT domains such as RF, signal processing, military comms.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML/DL algorithms for digital signal processing applications.
• Lead concept development, literature research, design, analyze, and implement ML solutions.
• Apply expertise in conventional signal processing and ML to build cutting-edge solutions.
