Job summary

Softtech is seeking a Lead Information Security Architect to join the Professional Services Team in a hybrid role based in Turkey. The role focuses on building secure development solutions for financial institutions and leading security initiatives across IT and business stakeholders.

You will design defense-in-depth architectures, perform threat modelling, and guide security policy implementation while mentoring junior staff and driving security excellence across all IT processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of information security experience in banking
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Strong defense-in-depth security architecture knowledge
• Understanding of network, server, endpoint, IAM, app security
• Experience with generative AI tools respecting privacy and security
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• CISSP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to assess risks and guide security controls
• Lead security architecture design across banking devices
• Drive POC processes for new security products and tech
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and controls
• Stay updated with emerging tech and integrate into IT security strategy
• Conduct threat modelling for existing systems and new projects

What makes you a good fit:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in information security within the banking sector,
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field,
• Strong knowledge of defense-in-depth security architecture and threat modelling,
• Comprehensive understanding of network, server, endpoint, identity & access management, application security, and emerging technologies,
• Experience in generative AI tools usage with strict compliance with data privacy and corporate security principles,
• Advanced knowledge of security frameworks and standards,
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills,
• Industry-recognized certifications (CISSP) are a plus.
