Job summary

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a Duty Manager to greet guests, manage the lobby, and resolve issues with a focus on VIP and long-stay guests. You will lead the front desk interactions, ensure service excellence, and coordinate responses with other teams to maintain first impressions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a supervisory hotel role, fluent English, strong IT and cash-handling skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Duty Manager or in a similar supervisory role in hotels.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
• High level IT proficiency and familiarity with hotel systems.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Accountable, resilient and committed to guest service.
• Flexible to adapt to various work situations and shifts.
• Experience with Front Office Management Systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Occupy the hotel lobby and public areas during busy times.
• Engage Guests in conversation and provide general assistance.
• Manage, record, and resolve promptly all Guest complaints.
• Meet and greet VIP Guests and major corporate clients on arrival.
• Coordinate services and facilities for long-stay Guests.
• Understand credit procedures and ensure they are applied.
• Stay current with hotel products, policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement improvements.
• Handle emergencies and health and safety procedures as required.
