Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a proactive Lead SAP MM/SD Retail Consultant with a strong logistics/retail background to guide multi-team SAP initiatives. You will design and deliver end-to-end SAP Retail (ECC) solutions, oversee project execution, and mentor a growing team of consultants.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in SAP Retail, SD/MM, and deep SAP Logistics knowledge, with excellent English communication and senior stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a SAP Retail functional consultant.
• Experience leading and mentoring SAP consulting teams (≥1 year).
• Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics, SD and MM.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Retail functional solutions (SAP ECC) design and delivery.
• Oversee SAP consulting projects aligning with business objectives.
• Guide master data management, configuration and testing activities.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget project outcomes and high quality.
• Act as primary contact for senior stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
• Mentor consultants, foster knowledge sharing and growth.
• Establish training and end-user support strategies.
• Lead client interviews to shape solution roadmaps and scope.
• Contribute to pre-sales, effort estimation and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end SAP Retail functional solutions (SAP ECC), setting the strategic direction for implementation
• Own and oversee the execution of SAP consulting projects for our client, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Guide and supervise master data management, configuration, and testing activities performed by the team
• Take full accountability for delivering high-quality project outcomes on-time and within budget
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, driving discussions to identify project needs, priorities, and requirements
• Mentor, coach, and support consultants within the team, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth
• Establish training frameworks and support strategies for end-users
• Lead customer and project interviews to define scope, assess feasibility, and shape solution roadmaps
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, effort estimations, and proposal development

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a SAP Retail functional consultant role
• At least 1 year of experience leading and mentoring teams of SAP consultants
• Deep knowledge of SAP Logistics
• Expertise in SD and MM
• Strong track record of managing full project lifecycles and stakeholder relationships at senior levels
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
