Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Developer to join the client’s project team on SAP ABAP initiatives. The role involves designing and implementing ABAP programs, analyzing requirements, and collaborating with business analysts to deliver technical solutions.

You will lead a small team, ensure coding standards, and drive delivery of complex ABAP reports, forms, and interfaces in a SAP S/4HANA environment. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SAP ABAP development with S/4HANA knowledge.
• Proficient in ABAP RAP and OData for modern SAP apps.
• Experience leading a team and delivering complex ABAP solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

The role involves designing and implementing efficient SAP ABAP programs while conducting system analysis and design activities. Collaboration with business analysts and other teams will be essential to meet business needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality SAP ABAP programs aligned with coding standards and guidelines

Requirements

• At least 7 years of SAP ABAP development experience with knowledge of S/4HANA
• Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and OData
• Experience in team leadership
• B2+ level English proficiency
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
