Job summary

Aramco seeks an experienced Delayed Coker/Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to bolster the Operation Engineering Solutions Department. You will monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvements for delayed coker and visbreaker units across refineries, providing remote and on-site technical advisory support and benchmarking.

The role requires deep process engineering knowledge, proficiency with HYSYS/ANSYS/HTRI, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in high-stakes environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in refinery/petrochemical with 10+ years in delayed coker/visbreaker.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, NFPA, API standards.
• Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, ANSYS and HTRI.
• Excellent communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance reviews of delayed coker/visbreaker facilities and KPI analysis.
• Develop quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable recommendations.
• Provide remote and on-site technical advisory support for performance improvement.
• Lead benchmarking and knowledge-sharing workshops across Global Manufacturing facilities.
• Deliver on-demand remote and field technical advisory support and detailed service reports.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical teams for optimal integration.
• Audit delayed coker/visbreaker equipment for safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Evaluate new technologies and innovations for improvement and optimization.
