Job summary

BGTS International is a software and technology solutions company delivering engineering and digital transformation services. We seek a Data Architect to lead the design of a consolidated data model for assets and operations, starting locally and expanding globally for a renewable energy client.

You will run discovery across multiple source systems, interview stakeholders across operations and finance, and define canonical data structures for wind, PV and BESS assets, while guiding the design

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture/modelling, 5+ in energy, utilities or asset-intensive sectors.
• Enterprise-wide data model ownership and ability to critique existing approaches.
• Renewable energy fluency: availability, performance ratio, curtailment, loss accounting.
• Hands-on depth in at least 3 of the listed systems, with working familiarity of the rest.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery across five source systems: SCADA/historian, Green Eagle ARSOS, IFS Cloud (Asset Lifecycle Management), Oracle Primavera P6, and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Interview stakeholders across operations, engineering, project delivery, commercial and finance.
• Define the canonical asset hierarchy, asset master, and measurement/tag dictionary across wind, PV and BESS.
• Design the conceptual and logical data model and act as design authority through delivery.

We're looking for a Data Architect professional well versed in the renewable energy domain to lead the design effort, as we help build a consolidated data model for assets and operations data — starting locally, then rolling out globally for our leading renewable energy enterprise client.

Responsibilities:

• Run discovery across five source systems: SCADA/historian, Green Eagle ARSOS, IFS Cloud (Asset Lifecycle Management), Oracle Primavera P6, and Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Interview stakeholders across operations, engineering, project delivery, commercial and finance
• Define the canonical asset hierarchy, asset master, and measurement/tag dictionary across wind, PV and BESS
• Design the conceptual and logical data model and act as design authority through delivery

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in data architecture/modelling, 5+ in energy, utilities or another asset-intensive sector
• Personal ownership of at least one enterprise-wide data model spanning operational and enterprise systems — and the ability to speak candidly about what you'd do differently
• Renewable energy fluency: availability, performance ratio, curtailment, loss accounting
• Hands-on depth in at least 3 of the 5 systems above, working familiarity with the rest
• Strong workshop facilitation and technical writing skills
