Job summary

Rönesans Holding is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer in Turkey to lead pre-commissioning through handover of rotating equipment for major projects. You will review drawings, prepare procedures, and coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient handover.

This role requires 5–7 years in oil & gas commissioning, hands-on experience with completion management systems, and strong English communications for client and partner interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5–7 years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas.
• Hands-on experience with Completion Management Systems such as Aconex, GoTechnology (GoTech), Go Completion System.
• Proven experience in mechanical completion, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and facility handover.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing for rotating equipment.
• Review drawings, vendor docs and contracts to include commissioning requirements.
• Prepare and review procedures, method statements, execution plans, and schedules.
• Manage mechanical completion through handover using Completion Management Systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, construction, and commissioning teams during start-up.
• Supervise preservation, flushing, cleaning, alignment verification, lubrication, and run testing.
• Support troubleshooting, performance testing, reliability runs, and punch list close-out.
• Prepare progress reports, final dossiers, turnover packages, and handover docs.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and advocate safety culture across all activities.

What You’ll Do?

• Lead and execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for rotating mechanical equipment.
• Review engineering drawings, vendor documentation, and contractual requirements to ensure commissioning requirements are incorporated into the project.
• Prepare and review commissioning procedures, method statements, execution plans, and schedules.
• Manage mechanical completion through to facility handover using Completion Management Systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, construction, and multidisciplinary commissioning teams during commissioning and start-up.
• Supervise equipment preservation, flushing, cleaning, alignment verification, lubrication, and mechanical run testing.
• Support troubleshooting, performance testing, reliability runs, and punch list close-out.
• Prepare commissioning progress reports, final dossiers, turnover packages, and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture throughout all commissioning activities.

What We Expect from You?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5–7 years of commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Centrifugal Gas Compressors,
• Gas Engine Generator Packages,
• Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Pumps,
• Air Compressors,
• Cooling Water Systems,
• Lube Oil and Seal Gas Systems,
• Utility and Process Mechanical Equipment,
• Rotating equipment alignment, vibration monitoring, and performance testing.
• Good understanding of compressor auxiliaries, piping systems, lubrication systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Completion Management Systems such as Aconex, GoTechnology (GoTech), Go Completion System, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in mechanical completion, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and facility handover.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning documentation, turnover dossiers, and final handover packages.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
