Job summary

EPAM Systems in TR is seeking an experienced Lead BI Analyst for an on-site role. You will lead BI analysis initiatives, mentor analysts, and drive data-driven decisions across multiple domains including oil & gas, finance, retail, e-commerce, and healthcare.

You will manage dashboards, ETL oversight, stakeholder workshops, data modeling, backlogs, and UAT efforts. Strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data-related projects such as data migration, governance, BI or analytics.
• 5+ years handling BI/DWH/analytics requirements (gathering, documenting, prioritizing).
• 2+ years in lead or senior advisory roles mentoring analysts.
• Proven end-to-end delivery using Agile and Waterfall; multi-workstream management.
• Strong SQL and data profiling; solid DWH fundamentals and modeling.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and visual standards.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and C-levels.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead dashboard design, development, and standardization across projects.
• Oversee end-to-end data migration and ETL with the team.
• Facilitate workshops with clients and senior stakeholders to align needs.
• Translate requirements into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee data discovery, profiling, and quality activities with SQL as a guide.
• Define source-to-target mappings, data models, and data flows.
• Own backlogs with epics, features, and stories aligned to goals.
• Drive Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement across teams.
• Lead UAT efforts with customer stakeholders and sign-off processes.
• Mentor BI Analysts and contribute to pre-sales effort estimation.
