Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, data-driven solutions. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, articulate architecture decisions to stakeholders, and guide teams from requirements to go‑live.

The role includes pre‑sales participation and PoC-driven research to advance data platforms and BI capabilities. The candidate will work across data platforms, IoT, ML, and backend domains, ensuring secure,

Qualifications

10+ years in requirements engineering, solution architecture, systems development, and deployment/maintenance.
2+ years as an Architect.
Expertise across at least three technology domains (Data Platforms, IoT, ML, Backend, etc.).
Deep knowledge of data warehousing, BI, and data management integration with security/operational focus.
Experience designing, deploying and replatforming distributed systems in cloud and on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve large-scale data-driven solutions.
Drive direct communications with business stakeholders.
Elaborate on all technical aspects for the development team with architectural justification.
Lead implementation from requirements to solution go‑live.
Create and present solution architecture documentation to customers and teams.
Participate in full pre‑sales activities.
Lead evaluation activities for solution architecture.
Research emerging technologies and contribute to PoCs or training programs.
