Job summary

Obilet is seeking a data analytics intern/early professional to help analyze data, build dashboards, and deliver insights using PowerBI. You will collaborate with top management and marketing to define data project requirements and report findings to stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a quantitative field, 1–2 years of experience or internship, and strong English. Hybrid work, growth opportunities, and access to training are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar.
• Long Term Internship or 1–2 years experience.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Experience with MS Office and data analytics.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik Sense is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus; Python and ML knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, multitasking and attention to details.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the data requirements of the company, and conducting thorough analysis to achieve business objectives

• Collaborating with various teams, including top management and marketing to identify data analysis project requirements

• Creating dynamic dashboards and insightful reports using PowerBI to contribute to effective decision-making processes

• Communicating data analysis findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders

• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business strategies and initiatives

• Providing recommendations based on data to solve business challenges

• Ensuring the effective functioning of business intelligence systems and tools, and taking necessary actions in case of issues

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field (a certificate on business intelligence, data science or data mining will be a plus)

• Long Term Internship or 1-2 years experience

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

• Experience with MS Office tools and data analytics

• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik Sense is a plus

• Knowledge of SQL is a plus

• Knowledge on Python and experience with Machine Learning and AI models will be an added advantage

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Eagerness to learn, multitasking skills, attention to details, and ability to deliver high quality results
