Job summary

SAB Aerospace s.r.l. in Benevento, Italy, is seeking a Senior structural analyst (m/f) to join our design and verification team.

You will work on space systems and subsystems, develop FE models, perform static and dynamic analyses, and support design optimization with CAD, thermal, and electronics disciplines. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 4+ years in structural analysis, and strong English (B2).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or in a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural analysis of mechanical structures.
• Knowledge of verification criteria for space structures: composites, sandwich panels, inserts and bolted joints.
• Experience with Hyperworks suite (optional) and Nastran.
• Good level of English (minimum B2).
• Ability to work in a team but also independently.

Job description

SAB Aerospace s.r.l. is seeking a Senior structural analyst (m/f) to work in our Headquarter in Benevento (Campania Region, Italy).

Responsibilities/assignments

• Structural design and verification of space systems/subsystems starting from specified requirements;
• FE models preparation and check;
• Setup and execution of static/dynamic analysis with the application of thermo-mechanical loads;
• Results interpretation and validity confirmation;
• Design optimization in close cooperation with the other disciplines involved in the project (CAD, thermal, electronics dpt);
• Test verification of the hardware designed;
• Reporting of the work to the client during meetings and official project reviews.

Requirements

• Master's degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or in a relevant technical discipline;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural analysis of mechanical structures;
• Knowledge of most aspects related to space structures: verification criteria for composite parts, sandwich panels, inserts and bolted joints;
• Experience with the use of software of the Hyperworks suite (optional) and Nastran;
• Good level of knowledge of the English language (minimum B2);
• Ability to work in a team but also independently.
