Mirsis Bilgi Teknolojileri is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our United Kingdom office on a freelance contract basis. You will develop, maintain, and optimize Java-based applications and services, with a focus on scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.

The role requires strong English communication, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and adherence to Agile/Scrum practices, SDLC standards, and code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–10 years of Java development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, and OOP knowledge.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• SQL knowledge with relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with Git and SDLC processes.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and services.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions using Java.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and support microservices-based applications.
• Perform database operations, write SQL queries, and support data management activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–10 years of professional experience in Java development.
