Job summary

Innovance Consultancy in Turkey is seeking a hands-on Java Developer who loves programming, architecting solutions, and solving complex integration problems. The role is hybrid, based at our client’s office in Marmara Bölgesi, Fatih area.

You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, JPA/Hibernate, and BPM tools such as IBM BAW on international projects. Fluency in English is required, with strong debugging and teamwork skills for delivery success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field; Master/PhD a plus.
• At least 4 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience in the banking domain.
• Strong Spring Framework experience (Boot, Security, Session, Data).
• Experience with Git and Maven.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, JPA, Hibernate, PL/SQL.
• RESTful API design, SOAP, and XML-based integrations.
• Experience with BPM tools, particularly IBM BAW workflow design.
• Experience on international/multinational projects preferred.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD degree is a plus
• At least 4 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Experience in the banking domain
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Session, and Spring Data
• Experience with Git and Maven
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, JPA, Hibernate, and PL/SQL
• Experience in RESTful API design, SOAP, and XML-based integrations
• Experience with BPM tools, particularly IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow), including workflow design and process-driven development
• Experience working on international projects or in multinational environments is highly preferred
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts
• Ability to take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, anticipate risks, and raise issues proactively
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Bitbucket, and Gradle
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as SonarQube and Jenkins
