Job summary

ASEE Turkey in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Banking Business Unit. You will lead development of large-scale Java applications, own technical direction, and collaborate with product owners.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, deep Java EE/Jakarta EE, Kafka, graph databases, Spring, Angular, and microservices. Strong English and team leadership are essential. Hybrid work in Istanbul is offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design and development of complex software with Java EE/Jakarta EE.
• Hands-on Apache Kafka experience (3+ years).
• Experience with graph databases and relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and modern back-end architectures.
• Experience with Angular, microservices and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine high-level functional and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Design architectures for current and future cross-functional needs.
• Collaborate with product owners and project managers on schedules and direction.
• Perform QA reviews and evaluate new software products.
• Develop high-level system design diagrams for development and testing.
• Develop and implement web-based applications across platforms.
• Ensure software stays up to date with new technologies.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution design and tech standards.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers.
