Job summary

ASEE Turkey is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Banking Business Unit. You will lead the development of new software products and enhancements, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with product owners on timelines and standards.

The role requires deep Java expertise (Java EE/Jakarta EE), Spring, Angular, and experience with Kafka, graph databases, and Big Data concepts. Hybrid work in Istanbul is available with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

7+ years in design and development of complex software using Java EE/Jakarta EE.
Strong design, troubleshooting and analytical thinking; capable of independent and collaborative work.
3+ years hands-on with Apache Kafka; knowledge of Flink or Spark is a plus.
Experience with graph databases and relational DBs (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MS SQL Server).
Strong Spring Framework knowledge; experience with Angular and microservices.
Hands-on ML project experience; Big Data platforms experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering; advanced English.

Responsibilities

Identify high-level functional and technical requirements with enterprise context.
Design architectures to support current and future cross-functional needs.
Collaborate with product owners and project managers on schedules and tech direction.
Perform QA reviews and evaluate software products.
Develop high-level system design diagrams for dev, test, and doc.
Develop and implement web-based applications across platforms.
Ensure software stays updated with latest technologies.
Contribute to end-to-end solution design and tech standards.
Mentor mid-level and junior developers.
