Job summary

MedArt Hair Clinic in Istanbul (Şişli) seeks an Italian and English speaking medical interpreter / patient coordinator to support international hair transplant patients throughout their clinical journey. This on-site role focuses on clear, professional communication between patients and the medical team.

The position emphasizes interpretation during consultations, pre- and post-operative sessions, and coordination with hotel and transfer services to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced spoken communication skills in Italian and English.
• Ability to communicate in Turkish is preferred.
• Previous experience in interpreting, patient coordination, medical tourism, or health tourism is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation support for Italian- and English-speaking patients throughout their time at the clinic.
• Ensure clear and accurate communication between patients, doctors, nurses, and the medical operation team.
• Assist with interpretation during consultations, pre-operative preparations, and post-operative information sessions.
• Communicate patients’ questions, requests, and concerns to the relevant departments.
• Translate medical information provided by the clinical team in a clear and understandable manner.
• Support patients during their clinic journey and assist them when needed.
• Provide communication support regarding hotel, transfer, and operation planning when required.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction before and after the procedure.
• Assist with the proper follow-up of patient records and communication details.
