Job summary

Insider One in Turkey is seeking a long-term IT Operations Intern to support day-to-day IT tasks and first-level IT support. You will gain hands-on experience in end-user support and asset operations.

The role is ideal for students pursuing Computer Engineering, MIS, or IT who want to build a career in IT Operations or Infrastructure, with at least 5–6 months and 3 days per week. Insider One offers a monthly meal allowance, learning resources, and diverse global teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Engineering, MIS, IT or similar.
• Duration: internship of at least 5–6 months.
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week.
• University must provide mandatory internship insurance.
• Good command of English with ability to communicate verbally.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Interest in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure careers.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of operational tasks.
• Previous IT Support/Help Desk internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily L1 IT support requests from employees and help resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Assist with setup and delivery of laptops, monitors, peripherals and other IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation and checklist follow-up.
• Keep IT asset and inventory records accurate and up to date.
• Support stock tracking for laptops, accessories and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows/macOS devices, peripherals, Wi-Fi, meeting room equipment and common workplace apps.
• Review incoming IT requests and escalate more complex issues to the relevant IT team member.
• Assist with device maintenance, repair and service follow-up processes.
• Keep internal IT documentation and checklists up to date.
• Help with other day-to-day IT tasks as needed.

We are looking for a long-term IT Operations Intern to support our IT team with day-to-day operational activities and first-level IT support.

In this role, you will work closely with the IT team and gain hands-on experience in end-user support, device lifecycle management, IT asset operations, onboarding/offboarding processes and basic troubleshooting.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced technology environment.

What You Will Do

• Assist with device maintenance, repair and service follow-up processes.
• Support the team in keeping internal IT documentation, checklists and operational records up to date.
• Help with other day-to-day IT operational tasks as needed.

What You Will Need

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Programming or a similar field.
• Ability to continue the internship for at least 5–6 months.
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week.
• University must be able to provide mandatory internship insurance coverage during the internship period.
• Good command of English with the ability to communicate verbally in English.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and common IT troubleshooting concepts.
• Interest in building a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure.
• Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of operational tasks.
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on IT environment.
• Previous experience through an IT Support, Help Desk, IT Operations or Infrastructure internship is a plus.
