Insider One is seeking a long-term IT Operations Intern to assist the IT team with day-to-day operations and first-level support. You will gain hands-on experience in end-user support, asset management, onboarding/offboarding, and basic troubleshooting in a fast-paced tech environment.

This role offers a pathway into IT Operations, IT Support, or Infrastructure with opportunities to learn through internal trainings and social impact projects.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Technologies or Computer Programming.
• Willingness to intern for at least 5–6 months.
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Interest in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1 IT support to employees and resolve basic hardware/software issues.
• Assist with setup and delivery of laptops, monitors and peripherals.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and device preparation.
• Maintain IT asset records and stock tracking.
• Troubleshoot basic Windows/macOS devices and common workplace apps.
• Review incoming IT requests and escalate complex issues.

We are looking for a long-term IT Operations Intern to support our IT team with day-to-day operational activities and first-level IT support.

In this role, you will work closely with the IT team and gain hands‑on experience in end‑user support, device lifecycle management, IT asset operations, onboarding/offboarding processes and basic troubleshooting.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure while gaining practical experience in a fast‑paced technology environment.

What You Will Do

• Support daily L1 IT support requests from employees and help resolve basic hardware and software issues.

• Assist with the preparation, setup and delivery of laptops, monitors, peripherals and other IT equipment.

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation, collection and checklist follow-up.

• Keep IT asset and inventory records accurate and up to date.

• Support stock tracking for laptops, accessories and other IT equipment.

• Help troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows/macOS devices, peripherals, Wi‑Fi, meeting room equipment and common workplace applications.

• Perform the initial review of incoming IT requests and elevate more complex issues to the relevant IT team member.

• Assist with device maintenance, repair and service follow-up processes.

• Support the team in keeping internal IT documentation, checklists and operational records up to date.

• Help with other day‑to‑day IT operational tasks as needed.

What You Will Need

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Programming or a similar field.

• Ability to continue the internship for at least 5–6 months.

• Availability to work at least 3 days per week.

• Good command of English with the ability to communicate verbally in English.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and common IT troubleshooting concepts.

• Interest in building a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure.

• Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of operational tasks.

• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on IT environment.
