Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a Technology Manager to lead IT and OT operations in our Kocaeli-based facility. You will ensure reliable plant technology, coordinate IT/OT projects, and drive Industry 4.0 initiatives to connect production with business systems.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years as a system administrator in manufacturing, 2+ years in leadership, and experience with automotive EDI systems. English fluency is required; Turkish/Kocaeli residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a computer/technology related field.
• Min 10 years of system admin experience in a manufacturing company.
• Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience.
• Experience with automotive EDI systems and customer integrations (Ford).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across levels.
• Cloud experience preferably Azure; fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local IT and OT operations to ensure reliable plant technology and production support.
• Lead IT and OT teams as a single Technology function with clear governance.
• Coordinate technology projects, capacity planning, and cost reporting.
• Ensure data backup, security, and compliance with group policies and legal requirements.
• Drive digitalization initiatives, Industry 4.0, MES, and shop-floor connectivity.
