Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited is seeking a Senior Investment Banking professional to lead or support execution across ECM, DCM, M&A/Advisory, and LAF. The role emphasizes building and analyzing financial models, preparing client materials, and coordinating with clients, advisers, and internal teams.

You will contribute to market research, deal structuring, and financing submissions while maintaining strong relationships with Treasurer and C-Suite level clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge on investment banking (ECM, DCM, M&A / Advisory, LAF), credit analysis and customer relationship management
• Building financial and valuation models and preparing client presentations across M&A, ECM, DCM, LAF
• Basic knowledge on financial / equity and debt capital markets and relevant legislation
• Superior Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) skills
• Strong academic background, graduated from top tier universities’ Engineering, Economics or Business Administration faculties
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the related area, including direct transaction execution experience in at least one of the following fields: ECM, DCM, M&A, or LAF
• Proven ability to independently manage transaction workstreams and coordinate with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.
• Fluency and strong presentation skills in English and Turkish
• Ability to work with global products and sector teams of HSBC Group
• Comprehensive understanding of capital markets
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills
• Robust communication and negotiations skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Being adaptive, resilient and multi-tasking

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, teasers, information memorandums and investor materials
• Draft new business presentations, draft marketing and execution memoranda, conduct market / industry research and quantitative analysis, and attend client presentations as required
• Lead or support key execution workstreams across M&A / Advisory and ECM transactions, including due diligence, valuation, transaction documentation and coordination with clients and external advisers.
• Structure, develop, maintain and analyze financial models, including cash flow, debt financing, comparative, valuation (Discounted Cash Flow, trading and transaction comparables) and pro forma analyses
• Develop appropriate financing structures/models, prepare submission materials to various credit and capital committees and assess credit considerations, market trends and competitive dynamics
• Support senior stakeholders in providing solution-oriented Investment Banking coverage to Treasurer and C-Suite level clients and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Produce secondary market update reports, pipeline reports, regional weekly update, ExCo (Executive Committee) papers, board papers and Wholesale Banking presentations (or any other reporting requirements)

Role Holder is responsible for leading or supporting the team during execution of various ECM (Equity Capital Markets), DCM (Debt Capital Markets), M&A / Advisory (Mergers and Acquisitions), LAF (Leveraged Acquisition Finance), and other debt finance products as part of the Investment Banking team.

• Corporate Finance products and services such as M&A / Advisory and ECM
• Debt Finance products and services such as Conventional & Islamic Debt Capital Markets, LAF (Leveraged Acquisition Finance), Syndicated & Club Facilities, and Acquisition Financing
• Ensures compliance with Global Standards, risk policies, and HSBC values
