Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Turkey seeks an Investment Banking Analyst to support ECM, M&A/Advisory, and DCM activities. You will assist in preparing investor materials, conducting industry and macro research, and helping structure financial models and valuations.

The role requires strong knowledge of capital markets, excellent MS Office skills, and fluency in English and Turkish. Office-based, 5 days a week in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Debt Finance products.
• Experience building financial models and preparing client presentations for M&A, ECM, DCM and alternative financing products.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills.
• VBA and Python coding skills are a plus.
• Fluency in English and Turkish; strong communication skills.
• Highly interested in capital markets; able to work from office, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assisting on preparation of proposals, teasers, information memorandums and investor materials
• Conducting industry, company-specific and macroeconomic research
• Supporting on structuring financial models and conducting valuation analysis (trading comps, DCF, 3 statement analysis, etc.)
• Interacting professionally and efficiently with colleagues
• Preparing daily market update reports and summarizing key events
