Job summary

Skydagger is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to join the ILS Department. You will contribute to Product Support Management, Data Management, Documentation Management, Maintenance Planning, Coordination, and Project Management, ensuring life-cycle support for UAVs.

The role requires leadership in contract planning, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with readiness to travel and work in dynamic environments. Istanbul-residency or relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an English-medium program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor all ILS contracts on a project basis to ensure cost-effective logistics support.
• Manage project schedules, user requirements, and technical support under Logistics Support Contracts.
• Analyze datasets related to users, field operations, aircraft, and systems; support MRO program development.
• Prepare and maintain logistics support documentation and coordinate Technical Bulletin processes.
• Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance for aircraft and subsystems; oversee repairs.
• Lead establishment of overseas MRO centers including procurement, training, and project tracking.

Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer

• Project Management

Our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Department ensures the operational continuity and highest level of mission readiness of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles throughout their lifecycle. Working in close integration with engineering and production processes, our department provides end-to-end solutions ranging from spare parts management and technical documentation to training and resource planning. Through data-driven analysis and a continuous improvement mindset, we extend the operational lifetime of UAVs while delivering uninterrupted field performance and sustainable success.

Position Purpose

We are looking for talented and highly motivated engineering candidates to join the ILS Department and contribute to various functional areas, including Product Support Management, Data Management, Documentation Management, Maintenance Planning, Coordination, and Project Management.

What Awaits You?

The functional areas of the teams within the ILS Department are summarized below:

• LDS Preparation, Tracking & Coordination Management: Responsible for planning and monitoring all contracts within the scope of ILS on a project basis to ensure the cost-effective and efficient execution of logistics support activities, conducting financial analysis and pricing, and ensuring the necessary coordination.
• Product Support Management: Responsible for managing project schedules and operational processes under Logistics Support Contracts, monitoring user-specific requirements and providing the necessary technical support, identifying potential risks related to product support activities and developing strategies to keep such risks under control, as well as costing all activities subject to payment and preparing price quotations.
• Data Management: Responsible for analyzing datasets related to users, field operations, aircraft, and other systems within the scope of post-delivery services; conducting relevant analyses and preparing reports; utilizing data for feasibility studies; and developing and managing the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) program.
• Documentation Management: Responsible for preparing and maintaining the logistics support documentation required for aircraft systems, as well as coordinating and planning Technical Bulletin processes with relevant technical teams and field personnel as part of post-delivery technical support activities.
• Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Responsible for planning and coordinating scheduled maintenance activities for aircraft and subsystems, as well as monitoring the repair processes of aircraft and systems brought back to the factory due to malfunctions.
• MRO Project Management: Responsible for managing the establishment of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centers overseas, including material procurement, training organization, feasibility analysis, reporting, center setup, planning, and project tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from preferably English-medium programs in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, or Software Engineering, or from relevant engineering faculties of internationally recognized universities with high global rankings,
• Fluent English proficiency in speaking, writing, and comprehension,
• Strong ability to manage, report, track, and complete multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate strong follow-up skills and a high sense of responsibility,
• Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop effective solutions,
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and successful in interpersonal relations, with strong communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team,
• Proficiency in material management and logistics software, such as SAP, ERP, Oracle, or similar systems,
• For Software Engineering and Computer Engineering candidates, experience in full-stack development, particularly in web-based projects, and proficiency in Java,
• Experience in writing SQL queries,
• Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), after-sales services, product support management, and statistical analysis,
• Strong focus on service quality and customer satisfaction,
• Strong presentation and reporting skills, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation,
• Currently residing or willing to reside in Istanbul,
