Job summary

BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş in Türkiye seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead the installation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise security solutions within the Information Security Department.

You will drive security strategies, perform hardening across infrastructure, coordinate penetration testing, and monitor threats, reporting findings with a proactive, collaborative approach. Fluent English and willingness to reside on the Asian side of Istanbul are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience in the administration, management, and configuration of enterprise security solutions such as Firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, PAM, and WAF.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the implementation and administration of DLP, Data Classification, Email Security, and Web Proxy solutions.
• Professional experience in Cloud Security environments, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience in incident response and handling cybersecurity-related incidents.
• Experience in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities across systems and network infrastructure.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Results‑oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to taking responsibility.
• Strong problem‑solving, planning, follow‑up, and reporting skills.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• Preferably residing on or willing to relocate to the Asian side of Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in the installation, administration, management, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions under the responsibility of the Information Security Department.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of information security strategies and practices.
• Conduct security hardening activities across infrastructure and systems in accordance with security policies and standards.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with the SOC/SOAR team.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities, analyze test results, and ensure that necessary remediation actions are identified and followed through.
• Monitor cybersecurity intelligence sources, assess relevant threats and findings, and ensure that necessary investigations and actions are carried out.
