Job summary

Insider One is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Istanbul-based engineering culture and help safeguard our AI-powered platforms. You will drive ISMS governance, SOC 2 readiness, and cloud security across AWS environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen risk controls.

You’ll own security audits, incident response, data privacy programs (KVKK/GDPR), and AI governance, while mentoring engineers and shaping security culture in a fast-paced, globally distributed

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISMS processes.
• Experience with risk management and BCM.
• Familiar with SOC 2 Type II framework.
• Privacy regulations knowledge (KVKK, GDPR).
• Hands-on security in AWS environments and cloud governance.
• Security audits, incident response, and security design guidance.
• Ability to communicate in English across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive ISO 27001 ISMS implementation, maintenance, and audit readiness.
• Support SOC 2 Type II compliance efforts and evidence collection.
• Conduct internal audits, manage findings, and remediation follow-up.
• Own and evolve company-wide risk management program and scoring.
• Provide governance for AWS security posture and access controls.
• Collaborate with Red Team and Blue Team on security findings.
• Maintain security policies, standards, and training programs.
• Design and execute security awareness and training for engineers and operations.
• Lead third‑party/vendor security assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Support security incident handling and post-incident reviews.
• Contribute to data protection governance under KVKK/GDPR.
• Drive AI/LLM governance and risk controls for tools.
• Advise engineering teams on secure architecture and design reviews.
• Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery testing and docs.
