Job summary

SoftwareOne seeks an Information Security Specialist (Splunk) in Istanbul to design and deliver Splunk-based security solutions across multi-client environments. You will balance modern and legacy platforms within a consulting-focused setup, collaborating with client teams and delivery units.

The role requires hands-on Splunk ES, strong SPL skills, and experience with data onboarding, dashboards, and SIEM concepts. This position offers travel to client sites and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Splunk Specialist/Engineer/Consultant.
• Understanding of Splunk Enterprise components: indexers, search heads, deployment servers, heavy forwarders, universal forwarders.
• Hands-on with Splunk Enterprise Security and security use case development.
• Strong SPL knowledge; dashboards, alerts, reports, and correlation searches.
• Experience with data onboarding from servers, network devices, firewalls, endpoint tools, cloud platforms, and security solutions.
• Understanding of SIEM concepts, log management, threat detection, and SOC.
• Strong documentation and communication; able to work directly with customers.
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin.

Responsibilities

• Manage data onboarding, parsing, field extraction, CIM mapping, and source type configuration.
• Develop and optimize SPL searches, dashboards, alerts, reports, and correlation rules.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and internal delivery teams, and troubleshoot performance, indexing, search, storage, and integration issues.
• Translate business and security requirements into technical Splunk solutions, and prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and operational handover materials.
• Work closely with customers, internal teams, project managers, and pre-sales teams.

The Role

As our new Information Security Specialist, you will support customers across multiple environments, helping deliver endpoint security solutions while balancing modern technologies with legacy platforms. You will work closely with multiple clients in a consulting-focused capacity, contributing to successful outcomes in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Splunk architectures based on customer requirements

What we need to see from you
