Job summary

PwC Türkiye is seeking a capable professional to join the Investment Incentives Team in Istanbul. You will lead and coach junior staff, manage customer relationships, and provide technical and legislative support for incentive certificates, revisions and closures. You will liaise with clients and PwC colleagues to deliver value.

Your role focuses on national and international investment projects, with opportunity to influence incentives processes and support elements across the client base.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment incentive projects.
• Strong knowledge of investment incentive legislation and processes.
• Good MS Office skills and data handling.
• Fluent English verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach junior staff in Istanbul's Investment Incentives Team.
• Manage customer relationships and market PwC services.
• Provide technical and legislative assistance for investment incentive certificates, revisions and closures.
• Support elements such as tax reductions, VAT exemptions, etc., for existing clients.
• Collaborate with PwC offices globally for client queries.

Working in Indirect Tax:

• Investment Incentives Team works with clients that carry out investment projects nationally and internationally. You will be given the opportunity to advise on the aspects of investment incentive regulations (especially related to incentive certificate processes, support elements and closure procedures).
• You will be talking directly with clients and developing both your client relationship and technical skills in the field of investment incentives (certificate application, revision, completion and closure process for global and local clients).
• You will be part of a globally integrated organization which offers you the opportunity to build strong relations with colleagues worldwide.
• You will be a part of investment incentive projects for multinational companies and liaise with other PwC offices regarding client’s global investment incentive queries.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar
• 1 – 3 years of experience in working for investment incentive consultancy projects
• Strong background in investment incentive legislation and processes (certificate application, revision, completion, closure)
• Knowledge of workflow related to investment projects and incentive regulations
• Strong verbal and written skills in English
• Client and market focused with a hands-on attitude

• Excellent command of MS Office applications

Job Description

The candidate will be expected to add value to our Investment Incentives Team in Istanbul by leading and coaching the junior staff, taking responsibility of the customer management, marketing our services to potential customers, and providing technical & legislative assistance for investment incentive certificates, revision and closure processes, as well as support elements (tax reductions, interest support, VAT exemption, customs duty exemption, etc.) for existing customers.
