Job summary

KUZU GROUP in Istanbul's Yenibosna headquarters seeks a Financial Reporting and Audit Assistant Specialist to support IFRS reporting, audits, and internal controls. The role offers exposure to solo and consolidated statements and regulatory compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve processes, analyze data, and develop audit analytics, requiring 1–3 years Big 4 experience, strong Excel, and Power BI familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial audit or tax practice; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.
• Analytical thinking, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
• Result-oriented, open to change, excellent team player.

Responsibilities

• Preparing annual IFRS audit reports based on solo and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and identifying potential errors or risks.
• Evaluating business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value creation.
• Answering ad-hoc requests from other departments.
• Taking an active role in accounting system development.
• Supporting the development of audit analytics, including data analysis, dashboard creation, and automated control scenarios.
• Identifying key findings and offering actionable recommendations.
• Providing advisory support for internal company projects and initiatives when requested.
• Reviewing the compliance of operations with tax regulations, commercial codes, and internal procedures.
