Job summary

ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. Izmir project seeks an I&C Superintendent to lead supervision of instrument installations, cabling, testing, and pre-commissioning activities on-site. The role requires strong EPC project experience, subcontractor management, and coordination with design, commissioning, and quality teams.

You will oversee power/control cabling, LV/MV tests, and data communications, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications while fostering safe, efficient field execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering.
• 7–10 years in industrial construction, 5–7 years as Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experience in instrumentation work planning, field management, and material tracking.
• Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Experience in installation control and punch list closure processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cable support system installations.
• Manage power and control cabling, field lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Oversee MCC, DCS, panel connections, and field supply lines.
• Conduct LV/MV cable tests, insulation tests, and continuity tests in the field.
• Supervise instrument installations and piping works.
• Coordinate instrument cabling, marshalling panel connections, signal checks to DCS.
• Field coordination of loop check and function test activities.
• Prepare calibration and pre-commissioning activities.
• Supervise field applications for PA/GA, CCTV, access control, and fiber cabling.
• Set up data communication infrastructure and connections between field panels and central systems.
• Coordinate testing, configuration, and integration of telecom systems.
• Install TRCS infrastructure and ensure communication with central control systems.
• Ensure E&I&T work packages follow drawings and specs.
• Manage subcontractors' site teams and schedules.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and coordinate with planning.
• Submit as-built, test protocols, RFI, NCR, etc., for approval.
• Coordinate with design, commissioning, and quality teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in industrial construction projects, including at least 5–7 years as an Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experienced in instrumentation work planning, field management, and material tracking.
• Experienced in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Experienced in installation control and punch list closure processes.
• Experienced in subcontractor management.
• Experienced in material management and ordering of missing/broken/lost materials.
• Knowledgeable in quality control and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) processes.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Having completed an EPC project is a strong plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervision of cable support systems installations.

• Field coordination of loop check and function test activities.
• Execution of calibration and pre-commissioning preparation activities.
• Supervision of field applications for systems such as PA/GA systems, CCTV, access control, and fiber cabling.
• Setup of data communication infrastructure and control of connections between field panels and central systems.
• Coordination of testing, configuration, and integration works for telecommunication systems.
• Installation of TRCS (Telecommunication Remote Control System) infrastructure, its integration with field devices, and ensuring communication with central control systems.
• Ensuring that the relevant E&I&T work packages are implemented in accordance with methodologies, drawings, and specifications.
• Management of subcontractors' site teams and work schedules.
• Preparation of daily/weekly site progress reports and working in integration with planning.
• Tracking and submission for approval of relevant technical documentation (as-built, test protocols, RFI, NCR, etc.).
• Maintaining close coordination with design engineering, commissioning, and quality teams.
