Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY TURKEY ELEKTRIK SANAYI ANONIM SIRKETI is seeking an HSE Specialist to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives at the Dudullu facility in Istanbul. You will implement global and local targets, conduct risk assessments, participate emergency drills, audits, and 5S practices to strengthen the safety culture.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, at least 3–5 years of HSE experience in industrial settings, familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and English & Turkish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related areas.
• Minimum C-class Occupational Safety Specialist.
• 3–5 years of HSE systems implementations in industrial facilities.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; auditor certificates are a plus.
• Knowledge of occupational risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive facility HSE activities and align with global/local targets.
• Conduct risk assessments (ABRA) and environmental impact evaluations.
• Participate emergency drills, site walks, GEMBA, and 5S implementations.
• Support incident prevention programs and investigations.
• Organize HSE training for employees and contractors.
• Report to HSE Lead and prepare periodic/non-periodic updates.
• Assist audits of ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and customer/supplier assessments.
• Maintain compliance and drive continuous safety improvements.
