Job summary

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Director of Finance in managing the hotel’s financial operations, reporting, and control processes. You will assist with day-to-day finance, ensure timely information, and help ensure compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good command of English; proficiency in Turkish is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance management role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control.
• Experience with hotel finance operations including Revenue Control, Cost Control, AR/AP, cash management, and month-end closing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and applicable financial legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with hotel systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to guide and develop a finance team and support cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze the hotel’s monthly, periodic, and annual financial results.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and analyze variances.
• Monitor KPIs and identify actions to improve revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reports to the Director of Finance.
• Support accounting, finance, cost control, income audit, AR/AP, and cash management processes.
• Maintain strong financial controls and comply with policies, controls, and audit standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, tax regulations, policies, and contractual obligations.
• Provide information to support internal and external audits.
• Identify and escalate financial risks to the Director of Finance.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize costs and profitability.
• Support finance team development and ensure efficient processes.
