Job summary

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Director of Finance in managing financial operations, reporting, and controls.

You will handle monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, and analyse variances; ensure timely reports; collaborate with departments to optimize costs; uphold internal controls. Fluency in English and Turkish, 2+ years hospitality finance experience, and a degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency in English; Turkish is required.
• Minimum 2 years in an Assistant Finance Manager or similar role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, periodic, and annual financial results.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; analyze variances.
• Monitor KPIs and drive actions to improve revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
• Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and on time.
• Support accounting, finance, cost control, income audit, AR/AP, and cash management.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with policies and audits.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, tax regs, and contracts.
• Provide information to support internal and external audits.
• Identify and escalate financial risks to the Director of Finance.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Support finance team development and efficient processes.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within the finance team.
