Job summary

Neapco Turkey is seeking a Heat Treatment Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team in Eskişehir. You will develop and implement induction hardening methods and design processes that optimize product properties, while ensuring equipment maintenance and production support.

The role requires a background in metallurgy/materials science, automotive-industry experience, and strong English skills. You will participate in new product launches and quality assurance activities on-site in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive sector & Induction Hardening is a must.
• Knowledge of CQI-9, VDA6.3, ISO 14001, IATF 16949.
• In-depth knowledge of heat treatments and materials science with min 3 years of experience.
• Certified / in-depth knowledge in FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Able to reside in Eskişehir.

Responsibilities

• Develop & implement heat treatment methods - induction hardening.
• Design heat treatment processes to optimize mechanical properties of products.
• Plan and follow the maintenance of heat treatment machines.
• Prepare equipment and materials for heat treatment.
• Provide technical support for material and heat treatment-related issues in production processes.
• Support new product launch processes.
• Carry out testing and inspection to ensure quality standards.
• Technical support in the purchasing process.
• Organise installation, commissioning, test runs and acceptance of machines.
• Assess complaints and audit reports, derive corrective actions.
• Plan, support and carry out production tests.

As Neapco Turkey we are looking for a Heat Treatment Engineer to be a member of our Manufacturing Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & implement heat treatment methods -specifically induction hardening
• Design heat treatment processes to optimize the mechanical properties of products.
• Plan and follow the maintenance of heat treatment machines
• Prepare equipment and materials to be used in heat treatment
• Provide technical support for material and heat treatment-related issues in production processes.
• Support new product launch processes
• Carry out testing and inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Technical support in the purchasing process
• Organising the installation, commissioning, test runs and acceptance of machines
• Assessing complaints, internal and external audit reports, as well as deriving measures
• Planning, supporting and carrying out production tests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the automotive sector & Induction Hardening is a must
• Application of knowledge / certificate of CQI-9, VDA6.3, ISO 14001, IATF 16949
• In-depth knowledge of heat treatments and materials science & min. 3 years of experience is a must
• Certified / In-depth knowledge in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plan, SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
