Job summary

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Türkiye is seeking an Environmental & Safety Engineer to join our team in Adapazarı region. You will contribute to health and safety compliance, participate in company-wide safety programs, and support machinery and equipment safety initiatives.

You will analyze accidents, drive improvements using an engineering approach, and collaborate with Pan-Eu groups on safety topics. English proficiency and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field (env/industrial/mechanical/electrical/electronics/metallurgy or related).
• Willing to be developed in Toyota Production System and Equipment Design & Manufacturing.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Capable of design & analysis CAT tools.
• No restriction to travel in and out of Turkey.
• Willing to live in Kocaeli and Sakarya.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide safety programs.
• Support members / operations regarding machinery and equipment safety.
• Conduct routine and follow-up health, safety and hazard inspections of company facilities.
• Analyse accident and incident reports for trends and make recommendations to correct unsafe conditions and behaviours using an engineering approach.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in Pan-Eu Working Group Meetings such as Safety, Ergo and Yokoten.
• Support the establishment of Toyota's future vision for further system deployment.
