Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa seeks a Facilities & Utilities Maintenance Engineer for our Akyazı plant in Sakarya, Turkey. You will oversee the maintenance and reliability of facility utility systems, plan preventive and corrective activities, and lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

You will coordinate spare parts, supervise contractors, and drive energy-efficiency projects while using SAP to manage work orders and equipment records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
• Hands-on, field-oriented approach around equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root-cause analysis.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, with good written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, reliability and continuous operation of facility and utility systems.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead maintenance team during breakdowns and emergencies.
• Monitor energy and utility systems for safe, reliable operation.
• Procure spare parts and maintenance services; supervise suppliers.
• Use SAP for planning, work orders and equipment records.
• Coordinate external contractors for maintenance, repair and inspections.
• Negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs and system performance.
• Support energy-efficiency and cost-reduction projects.
