Job summary

METRO Türkiye is seeking a Goods Supplier Accounting Business Partner (Project Based) to consolidate supplier accounts and drive accurate accounting reconciliations. You will respond to supplier inquiries, analyze stakeholder needs, and coordinate accounting activities across Store Operations, Suppliers, and Category teams.

You will also monitor the Shared Service Center in India, ensure timely processing of incoming e-invoices, and contribute to a structured, metric-driven work environment with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in general accounting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining a structured and organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations with suppliers and vendors.
• Respond to suppliers’ accounting-related inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Analyze internal stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
• Act as the key point of contact for accounting-related coordination between Store Operations, Suppliers, and Category teams.
• Monitor and oversee the activities performed by the Shared Service Center in India, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and provide training when necessary.
• Monitor incoming e-invoices and ensure they are routed to the relevant departments for further processing.
