Job summary

BNP Paribas is seeking a Global Trade Solutions Manager in Turkey to drive growth of GTS offerings for corporate clients. The role combines sales and consultative capabilities to expand the bank's trade finance products and market presence within Turkey.

The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional stakeholders, oversee Trade Finance P&L, and present compelling offerings to clients and internal committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a top notch university, Master's Degree is an asset
• Min. 5 years of GTS or relevant experience in the Banking industry
• Excellent level of Trade Finance product know-how; local and international relevant regulation
• Result and solution oriented sales skills
• A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered
• A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
• Good communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor business development strategies of both domestic and global markets to provide insights for new and current product development, positioning, pricing and delivering the most suitable sales and marketing mix
• Manage day to day trade transactions and the necessary documentations of a Corporate Client portfolio assigned to his/her responsibility
• Be responsible from the Trade Finance related P&L of the client portfolio
• Managing negotiation processes with third parties & internal stakeholders and follow-up to ensure the effectiveness of the business development plan
• Participate to the credit committes to explain the sturucture of a specific trade transaction
• Presentation of new offerings to related parties in a persuasive way by reflecting the benefits to the Bank

The Global Trade Solutions Manager role is a potentially high impact role with the opportunity to interact and network with multiple stakeholders and the BNP Paribas Group with a drive to grow GTS business. The role holder supports delivery of the overall strategy for global & local trade products with a commercial view.

The definition of the ideal candidate for us is someone who acts both with a sales and consultative approach with ultimate aim to grow GTS business in Turkey.
