Job summary

ComAp Group in Istanbul is seeking an energetic Technical Support Engineer to support the Turkish market, providing expert assistance for ComAp control systems across engine control, hybrid systems, marine, bi-fuel, and Genset Control.

The role combines hands-on installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training, with regular field visits and collaboration with global support teams to ensure fast, effective resolutions and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in Technical Support, Field Service, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, generators, or industrial controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and distributors via phone, email, online meetings, and on-site visits.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues related to ComAp products and applications.
• Install, commission, configure, and test control systems at customer sites.
• Deliver technical training online and on-site for customers and partners.
• Travel regularly across Turkey to support customers and projects.
• Collaborate with global Technical Support teams to ensure quick resolutions.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with professional technical assistance.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team in Istanbul, supporting the Turkish market.

In this role, you will provide technical support for a wide range of ComAp control systems and solutions across multiple industries including engine control, hybrid systems, marine, bi-fuel, and Genset Control (GSC).

The role combines technical support with regular customer visits, commissioning activities, troubleshooting, and technical training. If you enjoy solving technical challenges while working directly with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support to customers and distributors via phone, email, online meetings, and on-site visits.
• Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical issues related to ComAp products and applications.
• Installing, commissioning, configuring, and testing ComAp control systems at customer sites.
• Delivering technical training for customers, distributors, and partners both online and on-site.
• Supporting customers during system start-up and commissioning activities.
• Working closely with Sales during customer meetings and technical presentations when technical expertise is required.
• Collaborating with global Technical Support teams to ensure fast and effective issue resolution.
• Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing professional technical assistance.
• Traveling regularly across Turkey to support customers and projects.

What we expect from you:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in Technical Support, Field Service, Application Engineering, or a similar technical position.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, generators, or industrial control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
