Festo Corporation in Manisa, Turkey, seeks a Mechanical Equipment Design Specialist to lead the design and optimization of testing and assembly systems. You will translate requirements into robust mechanical solutions and work across engineering teams to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role calls for a bachelor in mechanical engineering and at least five years in mechanical design of manufacturing equipment, with hands-on CAD experience and familiarity with Creo Elements/Direct,

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional mechanical design experience.
Knowledge of machinery safety and risk assessment.
Experience with 3D CAD and PDM tools.
Good command of English.

Mansioni

Design and optimize mechanical equipment, fixtures, assemblies, and subsystems.
Translate production and process requirements into mechanical design solutions.
Prepare cost, risk, and effort estimations for projects.
Collaborate with Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Purchasing.
Evaluate designs against functional, safety, quality, and cost targets.
Apply design standards and modular design principles for scalability.
Support supplier management and technical clarifications.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and acceptance.
Prepare and maintain drawings, BOMs, risk assessments, and test reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
