Job summary

Wideandwise, a global on-demand manufacturing marketplace, is seeking a DFM Engineer in Türkiye. You will evaluate designs for manufacturability, optimize designs for production feasibility, and collaborate with CNC machining, sheet metal, and additive partners to streamline production.

In this role you will interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges, drive cost optimization, and help expand the manufacturing partner network across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in CNC machining or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of process cycle times, materials, and cost optimization.
• Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and quality/inspection processes.
• Ability to analyze CAD models and drawings for DFM improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate designs for manufacturability (DFM) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Optimize designs based on production capabilities, cost efficiency, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners (CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing) to ensure smooth production processes.
• Support production troubleshooting and resolve technical challenges during order execution.
• Act as a technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies to balance cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support initiatives to expand and strengthen the manufacturing partner network and technical capabilities.
