Job summary

YEDAŞ - Yeşilırmak Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to oversee all finance functions for the group’s international projects and investments.

The role focuses on budgeting, reporting, cash flow management and cost control in regulated energy sectors. The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in leadership, strong IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in English and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• National or international professional certification such as SMMM/YMM (Turkish CPA), ACCA, CPA or CFA preferred.
• Extensive experience (typically 12+ years), including at least 5 years in managerial roles.
• Experience in the energy, electricity distribution or other regulated industries preferred.
• Knowledge of Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) regulations and the financial impact of tariff and revenue requirement processes.
• Strong skills in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management and cost control.
• Solid command of international accounting and finance practices, particularly IFRS.
• Experience in financial management of international projects or operations preferred.
• Experience in financial modelling and investment appraisal; M&A experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to conduct meetings, negotiations and formal correspondence.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Keen interest in digitalisation and AI tools in finance, with the ability to integrate these technologies into analysis, reporting and decision-support processes.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership competencies.
• Willingness to take on long-term assignments abroad in the Group's international projects in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take on finance management responsibilities in the Group's international projects.
• Manage all of the Company's finance processes and provide financial direction.
• Prepare budgets, monitor budget performance and conduct variance analyses.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning and cost control processes.

Education
