Job summary

Özak GYO is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Director to join Özak GYO. The role leads all financial affairs, reporting, budgeting, and investor relations in line with IFRS and the company’s strategic goals within the real estate sector.

You will oversee cash management, audits, and finance operations, coordinate with holding and external partners, and build a high-performing team to drive efficiency, digitalization, and compliant financial practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in finance and financial affairs.
• Advanced level of English is preferred.
• Experience with IFRS reporting standards and processes; SAP ERP exposure.
• Strong planning, organizational, process, and time management skills.
• Solid knowledge of real estate legislation and regulations.
• Strong analytical, leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial affairs operations in line with the company’s strategic objectives, internal standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the company’s cash position, financial structure, and financial risks, providing regular analysis and reports to senior management.
• Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and projection processes.
• Coordinate with internal Holding stakeholders, financial institutions, and external business partners to ensure the company’s funding and financial requirements are effectively met.
• Monitor developments in the money and capital markets, macroeconomic indicators, and financial risks, and ensure effective liquidity and cash management.
• Ensuring that all audit processes (independent audits, certified public accountant audits, internal audits, and internal controls) are carried out effectively.
• Manage financial reporting and analysis processes for senior management and relevant committees.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and digitalization of finance processes and systems.
• Manage, develop, and guide the finance team, including setting objectives and monitoring performance.
• Ensure effective coordination among relevant functions and stakeholders to support the company’s overall financial strategy and business objectives.
